Crystal O'Neill (Towns)

My internship as a Marketing and Graphic Design Specialist for Music Works involved a lot of graphic design. I was asked to make posters, flyers and brochures for many of the various concerts, departments, recitals, classes and fun things happening at Music Works. Karen (the lady I interned for at Music Works) would give me information, pictures and a direction as to what she wanted in each of the print media I created and I would go to work on them. The programs that I used in making all of my print media were Illustrator and Photoshop.

Over the course of the internship I gained a few new skills and knowledge. These were: more knowledge in what was needed for print media and a faster designing speed. I already knew Photoshop and Illustrator, so the main thing I wanted to get out of this internship going in was more experience and knowledge.
